My name is Connor, and I run Coastal Creative, a marketing agency specializing in photography and videography. We’ve worked with brands like Yamaha, Mercury, Garmin, and New Holland, with features in several magazines along the way.
Alongside my dad Bill, a retired Vancouver firefighter, we’re building a land-based business on our 380-acre property in Vanderhoof, BC. A swing blade sawmill would be a game-changer, allowing us to mill our own timber and push forward with land development and community-focused projects.
We’d like to propose a partnership. In exchange for a discounted sawmill, we will document the entire process from setup to milling to the builds that follow through high-quality, story-driven media. With Coastal Creative’s experience showcasing top brands and Bill’s hands-on approach, we will deliver authentic content that highlights your sawmill’s reliability, versatility, and real-world value.
Comparable work

Marine
On the water, we use various types of gear to achieve the shots we need for a project. Creating content around large boats at high speeds in a marine environment is no easy task and can provide numerous challenges. Working in this space has forced us to think out side of the box in order capture amazing images in a dynamic environment.
Farming
Our team has worked in a variety of comparable industries including agriculture and marine environments. We have worked extensively in the agricultural sector which has exposed us to working in and around large equipment.

Mining
Our team has experience in the mining sector having worked with the Artisinal Gold Council to create a proposal for a video and photography project pertaining to the Goldlands Goldblaster GH1500 Helicoid Concentrator. This project consisted of a 2 minute promotional video outlining the use and key features of the product. The video assisted them in their successful application to the Artisinal Mining Grand Challenge: The Amazon in which they are in the final stages of in which over 1 million USD is awarded.
